American Red Cross Lifeguard course August 9-14

The ARC lifeguard course will prepare you to work poolside.   This class is held in conjunction with Manheim Central Recreation.  Students must be 15 years or older to take this course.  Proof of age required.   Prerequisites for the course are: swim 300 yds. continuously ( 100 yds. Front crawl, 100 yds. Breaststroke,100 yds of both ) swim 20 yards and retrieve a 10# brick in 7-10 feet of water and swim on your back with brick in hands to entry spot and exit the pool.  This course is 30 hours and All sessions must be attended.  Cost: $200, includes all course materials Dates:  Monday thru Saturday,  August 9-14,  4:00-9:00pm CPR/FPR will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5-9pm if you only need to renew your lifeguarding CPR .  If you only need CPR it is a seperate registration.
